Why We Can Celebrate Even Before the Results Are Reported.
There are so many reasons for Black voters to celebrate during this 2020 election season even before winners are declared. Young voters have moved from #proteststopolls and have registered and voted early in record numbers. Thank you for being a vital part of the November 3rd victory for democracy, the rule of law, control of the coronavirus, and peace with justice.
Whether you served as a TurnOut Sunday/Lawyers & Collars poll chaplain and aided vulnerable voters, or assisted voters in any way, please accept our deepest gratitude. Despite widespread voter suppression across the nation, your engagement helped protect vulnerable citizens and enabled them to vote their convictions in free, fair, and safe elections.
As our nation's divisions heightened during and after the election, the clergy's role as peacemakers will be even more critical in the days ahead.
HERE'S WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU RIGHT AWAY!
To help us close out this initial phase of TurnOut Sunday/Lawyers & Collars, we need your feedback in the next five (5) days on the survey below.
Our sponsors require a closeout survey, so we know how to better serve leaders like you in the future. Please, tell us what we did that worked well and what we might do better in a future campaign. If you already received a survey call, please ignore the survey request. If not, we need to hear from you!
Again, our deepest gratitude for all you did to advance democracy by protecting the sacred right to vote.
